We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Junior Computer Technician to join our team.

Role Description

As a Junior Computer Technician, you will assist in building industrial computers, providing technical support, and troubleshooting services to our clients, ensuring their computer systems and networks operate efficiently. You will have the opportunity to learn and grow your skills under the guidance of experienced professionals while delivering top-notch customer service.

Requirements

  • 1: A Level or College education preferred, relevant certifications or technical training advantageous.
  • 2: Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications.
  • 3: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • 4: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • 5: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • 6: Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments
  • 7: Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to providing exceptional service
  • 8: Physical ability to lift and move computer equipment as needed.
  • 9: Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends to meet client needs
  • 10: Must be able to get to and from the office in Stone. Driving licence advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Building industrial and embedded computer systems.
  • Imaging systems with customer’s software.
  • Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Assist in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as updates, patches, and system optimization.
  • Document all technical support interactions, solutions provided, and equipment configurations.
  • Collaborate with senior technicians to escalate complex issues and learn advanced troubleshooting techniques.
  • Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Assist in inventory management and procurement of IT equipment and supplies.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, always ensuring confidentiality and data security.
