Junior Computer Technician (Stone UK)

As a Junior Computer Technician, you will assist in building industrial computers, providing technical support, and troubleshooting services to our clients, ensuring their computer systems and networks operate efficiently. Requirements

• 1: A Level or College education preferred, relevant certifications or technical training advantageous.
• 2: Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications.

• 10: Must be able to get to and from the office in Stone. Driving licence advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Building industrial and embedded computer systems.
• Imaging systems with customer’s software.
• Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, or in-person.
• Assist in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as updates, patches, and system optimization.
• Document all technical support interactions, solutions provided, and equipment configurations.
• Collaborate with senior technicians to escalate complex issues and learn advanced troubleshooting techniques.
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Assist in inventory management and procurement of IT equipment and supplies.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, always ensuring confidentiality and data security.
