It is especially for bringing unconnected industrial equipment into the smart manufacturing era with the NIO 50 delivering data acquisition, IoT connectivity remote monitoring and end-to-end connectivity for the industrial internet of things or IIOT. Designed for Fieldbus based controllers, legacy manufacturing machines and serial-based devices the NIO 50 closes the communication gap between edge nodes and the cloud, enabling you to harness field data to optimize your manufacturing or field process remotely as well as providing you with the opportunity for preventative maintenance for future developments in automation, M2M, data acquisition and deliver interoperability.
