The USB-14010-SI is a USB Isolation Adapter that supports both USB Revisions 1.1 and 2.0. It is equipped with an isolation controller, ensuring backward compatibility when connected to USB1.1 or USB2.0 compliant devices. Similarly, it remains compatible when connected to USB1.1 or USB2.0 compliant hosts. One notable feature of the USB-14010-SI is its ability to function in bus-powered mode, eliminating the need for an external AC power adapter. This is particularly convenient for USB devices with low power consumption, as they can operate without an additional power supply. However, if more power is required on the downstream port, the external DC jack can be utilized for self-powered mode.
