This rugged tablet computer from Winmate is heavy industry ready with CANBUS expansion. The screen is 10.4″ with a resolution of 1024 x 768, a brightness of 700 NITS and 4W resistive touch technology. Processing power is via an Intel Dual Core Atom N2800 1.86GHz CPU with Intel NM10 Chipset, memory is up to 4GB via 1 x SODIMM and storage supports mSATA SSD up to 256GB. The construction is ultra rugged being of an aluminium/magnesium alloy encased in chunky rubber which qualifies the tablet for MIL-810G shock, vibration and drop, making this PC a wise choice for heavy industry, mechanical engineering factories and building sites.
Wireless communication on the R10ID8M-RTT2CA is via built in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth with the option of adding 3G. Front controls include 1 x menu key, 1 x up and 1 x down keys and 3 x programmable hotkeys with up to 6 functions. I/O includes 2 x USB 2.0, 1 x line-in, 1 x line-out, 1 x reset button, 1 x LAN, 1 x power jack, 1 x COM, 1 x SIM slot, 1 x docking connector for optional dock station and 1 x 6 piins terminal connector for 2 channels CANBUS. The operating temperature is between -20°C ~60°C completing this ultra rugged computers credentials for use in harsh environments.
