The Railway Computer RSL-R 81 is a maintenance-free rolling stock PC that offers top-notch performance. It is equipped with an Intel Atom (Apollo Lake-1) x7-E3950 or optional x5-E3940 processor. This powerful combination bridges the gap between high and low performance processing, ensuring optimal speed and efficiency.

Complying with the standard EN50155, class OT4, the Railway Computer RSL-R 81 is built to withstand the harshest conditions. It boasts a power failure bridge of at least 10 milliseconds, meeting EN50155, class S2 requirements. It also fully adheres to EN61373 standards for shocks and vibrations, EMC (electromagnetic compatibility), and electrical insulation. In addition, the industrial PC meets the fire protection standard for railway vehicles outlined in EN45545-2.

Designed exclusively for rolling stock applications, the Railway Computer RSL-R 81 features an electrically isolated power supply input. Configuration of the Railway Computer, including the Ignition Controller, can be easily done through wide-range inputs supporting DC voltage ranging from 16.8 to 110 volts.

To enhance functionality, the railway computers can be optionally equipped with GPS and LTE/GSM/UMTS functions for precise positioning and efficient data transmission. Optional expansion cards allow seamless integration with various railroad BUS systems such as real-time Ethernet, TCN, WTB, ProfiNET, or MVB.

Overall, the Railway Computer RSL-R 81 sets the standard for robust performance and reliability in the rolling stock industry.
