The HM101-QM87 from DFI is a long life cycle Mini-ITX motherboard designed for use in industrial and embedded applications. The board is based around Intel's 4th generation of core processors with 22nm process technology, QM87 express chipset and BGA 1364 packaging technology. These 4th generation boards boast a 5~15% CPU performance increase over the previous generations. Main features on this board include support for 2 DDR3L SODIMM up to 16GB, Audio, 2 x SATA 3.0 ports with RAID 0/1, a useful 8 USB ports, 2 Gigabit LAN ports and 2 COM. Expansion comes as 1 x PCIe 3.0 and 1 x Mini PCIe. Power is supplied through a 12VDC as default with 14-pin ATX as an option to support wide voltage. Intel HD graphics 4600 allows the HM103-HM86 to output HDMI resolution up to 4096x2304 @ 24Hz or 2560x1600 @ 60Hz, DVI-I resolution up to 1920x1200 @ 60Hz, LVDS 24-bit, dual channel, resolution up to 1920x1200 @ 60Hz and DP resolution up to 3840x2160 @ 60Hz. Together with Intel clear video technology and DirectX video acceleration. The HM100 is one of three QM87 chipset Mini-ITX industrial motherboards with expansive features that are ideal choices for a whole range of applications such as gaming machines, medical equipment, industrial control automation, security & surveillance, smart grid, ATM, and POS.
