The SB331-D from DFI is an industrial microATX board which uses the low cost Intel H61 chipset. This microATX form factor board supports the 2nd generation Intel CoreTM i7-2600, i5-2400, and i3-2120 processors that feature 32-nanometer process technology providing higher performance at lower power than previous processors. For cost sensitive applications, the SB331-D microATX embedded board also supports the economical Intel Pentium processor 850. The Intel HD Graphics 2000 engine integrated into these scalable desktop 2nd generation Intel Core processors supports six graphics execution units with dynamic turbo boost to accelerate video processing, and Intel Clear Video Technology providing advanced imaging capability for Blu Ray and other high definition video processing. Performance is further increased through the introduction of Intel Advanced Vector Extensions (AVX) to the instruction set, providing acceleration of complex audio, video, and image processing. HDMI and DVI graphics interface connectors provide dual independent display support up to 1,920 x 1,200 @ 60Hz resolution. This scalable desktop platform supports up to 16GB DDR3 1066/1333MHz memory, 2-channel HD audio with S/PDIF input/output interface, and 2 Gigabit LAN for increased transmission speed. The Intel® H61 Express chipset used on this microATX embedded board delivers high performance I/O. It provides 4 Serial ATA 2.0 ports with speed up to 3Gb/s, 10 USB 2.0 ports, 2 Serial COM ports, and 36 digital I/O ports for device controls. The SB331-D offers additional expansion capability via 2 PCIe x16 expansion slots (x16 and x2 signal), and 2 PCIe x1 auxiliary expansion slots.
