The NIFE 101 is an intelligent PC-based controller and Modbus RTU/TCP gateway designed for factory automation. Powered by the Intel Atom Dual Core E3826 1.46GHz processor, this compact embedded controller supports ACP ThinManager, Indusoft for HMI and SCADA modern factory management solutions. I/O includes 1x DVI display output or 1x VGA converted from DVI-I, 2x GbE LAN supporting WoL, Teaming and PXE, 1x USB 2.0 and 1x USB 3.0, 2x RS232/422/485 with 2.5KV isolation protection plus a front access C-Fast socket and RTC battery. Expansion is via 1x full size mini-PCIe for an optional Wi-Fi/3.5G/4G LTE and a SIM card holder. The NIFE 101 is a reliable choice for IoT/M2M applications when a Wi-Fi, 3.5G/4G LTE module is added.
