The NIFE 100 is an IoT gateway controller powered by the Intel Atom Dual Core E3826 1.46GHz processor. This small form factor embedded computer is suitable for M2M fieldbus communication via a choice of expansion module kits which correlate to the desired protocol. These include Devicenet, EtherCAT, Ethernet IP, Profibus, ProfiNET, SERCOSIII and CANopen. I/O includes 1x DVI display output or 1x VGA converted from DVI-I, 2x GbE LAN supporting WoL, Teaming and PXE, 1x USB 2.0 and 1x USB 3.0, 2x isolated RS232/422/485 plus a front access C-Fast socket and RTC battery. Expansion is via 1x full size mini-PCIe for an optional Wi-Fi/3.5G/4G LTE. The NIFE 100 is certified for cloud based Microsoft Azure or without as the NIFE 100S. The NIFE 100S also has 1KV isolation protection on the DC input and supports ACP ThinManager, Indusoft for HMI and SCADA modern factory management solutions.
