The EC500-CS is powered by 8th/9th Gen Intel Core i7/i5/i3/Pentium/Celeron Processors , supported by 2 x DDR4 2400/2666 MHz SO-DIMM up to 64GB, Intel HD Graphics Processors featuring Open GL and OPen CL, able to HW Decode HEVC/H.265, H.264, M/JPEG, MPEG2, VC1/WMV9, VP8 (8-bit), VP9 (10-bit) and HW Encode HEVC/H.265, M/JPEG, MPEG2, VP8 – Video Codecs and able to display via 1 x VGA, 2 x HDMI/Display Port (auto-detection)

The unit ships with Front I/O 4 x RS-232/422/485 Serial Ports (DB-9), 2 x USB 2.0 (Type A), 8 bit (DB-9) Digital In and Outs and Rear I/O with 2 x RJ-45 (for Gigabit Ethernet), 2 x RS-232 (DB-9) Serial Ports, 4 x USB 3.1 (type A) and Audio 1 x Line-Out and 1 x Mic-In.

OS supported is Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 64 Bit, with support for Linux available upon request.
