Axiomtek’s rBOX101-6COM(ATEX) is the world's first ATEX certified, rugged, DIN-rail fanless embedded computer system. The Directive 94/9/EC commonly called “ATEX” is a directive adopted by the European Union (EU) to facilitate free trade in the EU by aligning the technical and legal requirements in the member states for products intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. Under the international trade of IECEx mutual certification system, the system with ATEX certification is also sold outside of Europe where systems with such features are needed. The rBOX101-6COM(ATEX) fulfills all requirements for use in environments containing explosive dust and gas, and with extreme temperatures. This robust system is ideal for power plant automation, facility monitoring systems, oil and gas industry, and much more.
