Details
The AVS-240 is a desktop or wall-mounted video wall controller validated by Matrox. The system is based around the Intel Xeon E3-1200 series single processor which allows up to 4 cores / 8 threads. The unit is a powerful control room tool, which can aggregate, integrate and analyse massive amounts of data via 8 inputs and 8 outputs reaching application capabilities beyond digital signage into medical imaging, machine vision, SCADA or emergency dispatch centres for example.
Features include 2 x PCIe expansion slots which support Mura MPX installation cards, plus an additional 2 x PCIe slots and a further 3 x PCI slots. I/O includes 6 x USB 2.0, 4 x RJ-45, 1 x COM, 1 x VGA and 2 PS/2 with storage consisting of 3 front accessible drive bays, 2 x hot-swappable 3.5” SATA and 1 x 5.25”, plus an additional 1 x 3.5” SATA internal drive bay. Finally the system benefits from remote management through IPMI and the Advantech remote monitoring utility to offer real usability in all applications.
