The CPS 100 from Nexcom is an edge IoT gateway powered by the Intel Dual Core Atom E3805 1.33GHz. The cloud-based system is fitted with multiple fieldbus (slave) support, Modbus TCP/RTU industrial protocol, OPC UA for data mining and IoT studio; making this system perfect for both centralized and decentralized data management in automation processes.
The units I/O includes 2x Gb LAN, 1x USB 2.0, 1x USB 3.0, 1x COM RS232/485 and 4x DI/DO. Storage is through 1x eMMC 16GB flash and there is built in DDR3L 2GB of memory. Together with optional wireless connectivity the Nexcom CPS 100 is available for applications in security, automation, intelligent machines, M2M, factory, gateway and data acquisition.
