The Matrix-700 is an Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) gateway computer from Artila. This IoT gateway is an ARM-based and Linux/WinCE ready embedded computer designed for data management with extra low-powered RISC architecture to increase reliability. The system supports the IBM flow-based programming for the Internet of Things making it easier to wire together data flows on an in-browser platform.
This system has an ARM ATSAMA5D35 536MHz Cortex-A5 processor running Linux kernel 4.4.x with file system. Storage is via an 8GB eMMC flash drive and memory is through a 512MB LPDDR2 SDRAM. I/O on the Matrix-700 includes 1 x GB LAN, 1 x 10/100Mbps LAN, 2 USB ports, 4 x RS232/RS485 COM ports and 1 x SD card socket.
