IPTV Central Management Engine

The MC-001 provides a central management point to enable the system administrator to configure and manage the system appliances and the channel line ups for all the end points. The ministreamer configuration tool auto discovers any devices connected on the same subnet, and provides a management interface that allows the administrator to scan for all available channels and then determine which channels will be available on the network. All of the configuration is done through a UDP control API and as such can be dynamically changed independently if required. The Screen Builder application provides the administrator with the tools to define the data layer that gets displayed on the set top boxes. This can be as simple as adding a corporate logo with transparency to the video window all the way to a complex data integration solution. Set Top Boxes can be addressed individually or grouped together to provide a separate class of services to different types of screens for example Reception TV versus Management TV. The software solution is designed in such a way that every channel on every screen could be different if required.
