SolidRun’s LX2160A Computer-on-Module based on the COM Express type 7 form factor was designed to provide a robust and modular networking computing platform. The Layerscape LX2160A features extended processing power, connectivity options and high-end networking capabilities – making it the ideal platform for an almost endless variety of networking and edge solutions. Layerscape LX2160A COM Express type 7 module features 16 Arm Cortex A72 processors, quad 10GbE, and 18 x PCIe Gen 3.0 lanes, providing plenty of bandwidth for data path processing in multiple networking layers. For flexibility and scalability, SolidRun also offers the alternate Layerscape SoCs: LX2120A and LX2080A featuring 12 and 8 cores, with all other features and abilities remaining the same.
