The XF700 Series from Inelmatic is a rugged 7 inch in-vehicle monitor with sunlight readable options for applications such as public transport where restricted space and harsh environments call for adaptable brightness and hard wearing reliability.

The screens have a native resolution of 800x480 but can support 640x480 up to 1024x728 using a video scaler. The units manage brightness requirements from low light indoor ambience to direct sunlight, and includes a manual dimmer control as well as automatic brightness sensor to present the optimum brightness for the present ambient conditions, which is paramount when used in vehicle applications for driver safety. The screen can also be optioned to be touchscreen via USB or RS232 becoming a functioning HMI unit. Connectivity is universally dealt with by an all-in-one cable consisting of a USB, VGA input, 3 x composite, 1 x mic jack and a reserve cable.
